Here is the link to the valve cover gasket kit that I bought. The valve covers themselves were brand new, oem. I purchased them locally from a gentlemen that bought them from the dealer to powder coat but never did.

As far as the procedure used to tighten them I found online the torque specs for the wrench and tightened accordingly.

If that is the fail safe mode of the AAC then it certainly would explain it. I have the connecter, just haven't put it on yet.

I can say that everything I read on here indicated rtv didn't need to be used for the intake vc's just the exhaust vc's.
